In einem schon etwas älteren Artikel von 2003 zerstört Michael Livingston Mythen, die sich um die Medizin des Mittelalters gebildet haben. Die Medizin der damaligen Zeit war weit weg von reinem Aberglauben und arbeitete effektiv mit den Mitteln, die man zu dieser Zeit hatte.

Ein sehr lesenswerter Artikel, insbesondere für Heiler, die ihrem Handwerk nicht magisch nachgehen und ihre Rolle mit stimmungsvollem Hintergrund ausschmücken wollen.

    Ich für meinen Teil glaube ja das wir heute nicht weniger medizinischen Aberglauben mitschleifen als wir vom Mittelalter annehmen..

    Danke jedenfalls für den Tip. Klingt nach einer guten Sonntagslektüre.
